Our Favourite Trends for 2025

As our 2024 wedding season is drawing to a close, we are already thinking about what’s in store for 2025. Keeping a close eye on what’s trending so you don’t have to! Here are our top 2025 trends.

Hiring a Wedding Content Creator.

This year we have seen the introduction of content creation at weddings. This is a first for me! These creators are on site throughout the day of the wedding, capturing endless amounts of footage from behind the scenes to special moments, that the couples can then post to their own social media in the days after their wedding day. This is a wonderful way to record the day from a different angle, letting your day unfold through little snippets of video. My only advice would be to use content creation in addition to your professional photographer/videographer.

Maximalist Wedding Decor.

While this might not be everyone’s style, I am all for these over-the-top, abundant decor choices! More is more in my opinion and I can’t get enough of candles, florals, and elaborate lighting.

Wedding Weekends.

I’ve noticed that weddings have transitioned from the traditional one-day structure to a 2 day/weekend event. Including these details & timings in pretty co-ordinating stationary is a must. And gives your guests the 6 week notice so that they can schedule in & plan for the weekend of celebrations. Have a look at the most luxurious stationary from https://www.deabillandquince.co.uk/

A First Look.

Ok so we all know about the old superstition that seeing each other is bad luck before the wedding, But there’s something refreshing about the idea of taking in those special moments together as a couple. First looks are becoming more & more popular, especially at civil ceremonies, where you can squeeze in a first look just before the ceremony commences. If you are ready to throw tradition out the window – then this trend might be right up your street.

Alternative Bridesmaids Bouquets.

I am hoping that this trend doesn’t lead to regrets in the future! But I am also loving the brave choices that couples are making when if comes to bouquets. From flower filled handbags to lanterns, single stem roses to parasols. You can be as daring and creative as you wish!

Sustainability.

This trend is not new, but one we really hope is here to stay. I am loving that couples are focusing on the importance of sustainability. From invitations made with recycled materials, biodegradable confetti and repurposing florals from ceremony to reception, There are so many ways you can incorporate this into your day.
